Poppy Seed Meringues

   Preheat oven to 200u00b0F. For the meringue mixture, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until firm. Gradually add the sugar, beating until smooth and glossy. Stir in the poppy seeds.

   Spoon meringue mixture into a large piping bag with a large plain nozzle and pipe 30 small circles onto 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake 2 hours. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container up to two weeks.
