   Combine the first 7 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil.

   Let stand until cool.

   Add flour and baking soda.

   Mix well. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan in a 325u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until it tests done (toothpick inserted comes out clean).

   Turn out on cooling rack.

   When cool, dust with confectioners sugar, use cream cheese frosting or serve plain.
