Rim glass with lime juice and dip in mojito sugar (can be bought in most grocery stores now).

Then, in a tall glass (pint glass works well) put:

Handful of Mint Leaves (left whole or ripped up)

*Optional: Add a few pomegranate seeds (or leave out if you want a classic mojito)

Muddle/Smash together at the bottom of the glass

1 oz Light (white) Rum

1 oz Pomegranate Juice (or replace this with any type of juice you like...pear is yummy too)...or just leave this step out if you want just a plain classic mojito.

Fill the rest of the glass with Club Soda

STIR WELL to dissolve sugar and garnish with a sprig of mint. Serve with a cocktail straw for stirring.
