Plantation Chicken – a delicious recipe with chicken, celery, pimentos, green pepper, onion, water. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1 chicken
2 c. celery
2 small cans pimentos
1 c. green pepper
2 c. onion, diced
1 c. water
½ Tbsp. flour
6 c. broth
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cans chow mein noodles
2 c. cheese
2 c. bread

Cook celery in salted water.

Saute in oleo, the peppers and onion.

Combine flour, broth and soup.

Then add celery, pepper, onion, chicken and heat well.

Salt to taste and cook until broth thickens.

Black pepper may be added.

Line 2 large Pyrex dishes with noodles, then pour in chicken mixture.

Take cheese and bread grated together and sprinkle over all.
