   First you want to brown your sausage in a large skillet and when cooked, drain off any grease

   Cube the Velveeta cheese and add to the sausage.

   Mix in the cheese as it melts until all combined over low heat

   Stir in the Italian seasoning.

   Spoon about 1 Tablespoon of the mixture onto the cocktail bread slices.

   Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes.

   Watch closely because oven temperatures due vary.

   I like them bubbly and turning a bit brown.

    **You may also freeze these on the cookie sheet and then place in Ziploc freezer bags.

    They will keep for a long time and are great snacks or breakfast treats.

    Pop them in the oven without thawing and cook thoroughly until golden & bubbly.
