Combine the ground chuck and sausage in large skillet.

Spoon small mounds of mixture onto Melba rounds.

At this point, the rounds can be frozen on a baking sheet and then transferred to plastic bags for cooking later.

When ready to serve, remove from freezer and place on baking sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly.

Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over top of each round before baking. No baking is necessary if you do not freeze the rounds. Simply sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese over the top of the rounds while the filling is hot.
