Pigs In A Blanket (Party Tray or for SnackTime)

   Preheat oven to 350F.

   Open and drain Smoked Sausage package

   Open crescent rolls and cut each triangle(crescent piece) into thirds.

   Take one lil smokie and place on top of 1/3 piece of crescent dough.

   (Optional) Sprinkle a pinch of shredded cheese on top of lil smokie before proceeding to step 6

   Wrap crescent dough around lil smokie(try to cover completely) and pinch to close.

   Repeat until desired amount of lil smokies are prepared.

   Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until dough is golden brown.

   Best if served warm.

    **Helpful Hint** If preparing as a part of a party tray insert a wooden toothpick into dough after it is wrapped around the sausage.

    This will not only help hold the food together, but also eliminate the need for a serving utensil!
