   Blend shortening, salt and flour with pastry blender in a medium size bowl.

   Mixture will resemble coarse crumbs when ready. Gradually sprinkle cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time.

   Toss the mixture lightly with fork after each addition.

   To roll, place between waxed paper.

   For cream pies, prick single crust; bake at 425u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
