Peppermint Eggnog Cocktail

   First, we'll rim our glasses. Pour a small amount of eggnog onto a plate. Crush 2-3 candy canes into very small pieces and place on another plate. Rim glasses by placing upside down in the eggnog and them in the candy. Make sure there is no excess eggnog as it will run. Set aside.

   Place eggnog and ice cream in a blender and blend until smooth.

   Add rum or schnapps. Blend fully.

   Pour into rimmed glasses. Garnish with a candy cane and serve immediately.
