Peggy'S Surprise Pastries

   Roll slices of bread with rolling pin until very thin.

   Trim off 3 crusts.

   Spread bread slices with soft butter.

   At the end where crust remains, place a teaspoon of jelly or preserves.

   Roll up and spread top with butter.

   Place on cookie sheet.

   Bake at 400u00b0 for approximately 15 minutes, then at 375u00b0 for 5 minutes more or until golden brown.

   Remove from oven and sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

   When cooled, sift 10x sugar over top.
