For the filling, place pears, sugar and 2 tbsp water in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, covered, for 5-8 mins or until pears are just tender. Remove from heat and uncover. Cool slightly and drain, then transfer to a medium bowl. Add blackberries to pear mixture and toss to combine.

Preheat oven to 400u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a phyllo sheet on a flat work surface and brush lightly with butter. Top with another phyllo sheet and repeat buttering and layering until all phyllo sheets are used. Place filling on long side of pastry stack, leaving a 2 inch border on each side. Fold in ends, then roll to enclose filling. Transfer, seam-side down, onto prepared baking sheet, brush top with butter and sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 25-30 mins or until golden. Dust with combined powdered sugar and cinnamon, slice and serve.
