Peanut Brittle Candy

   Combine sugar, water and syrup in saucepan.

   Cook to 250u00b0 on candy thermometer.

   Pour in peanuts; stir and cook to 300u00b0. Remove from heat and add butter immediately.

   Then add baking soda and stir briskly.

   Will foam over if not stirred after mixing soda.

   Pour hot candy onto a smooth well buttered surface.

   Cool slightly, then stretch to your liking.
