Pasta With Onion And Saffron

   Add the butter to a skillet on medium heat. Add the onion and saute for 5 minutes.

   Add the milk and cook on a low heat for 5 minutes.

   Add the cream, saffron, and a pinch of salt and cook for a further 5 minutes.

   Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.

   Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.

   Garnish with thyme and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
