Mix together the ingredients marked with - miso, sake, mirin, grated ginger and ground sesame seeds.

Drain the excess water from the tofu.

Cut the tofu into easy to eat pieces, and coat each piece with katakuriko.

Shake off any excess.

Heat some oil in a frying pan, and cook the tofu from Step 2 on both sides over medium heat.

When both sides are browned, lower the heat.

Pour in the combined flavoring ingredients from step 1 onto Step 3's tofu, and shake the frying pan to mix.

Turn the tofu pieces to coat both sides with the sauce.

Add some chopped green onion or shiso leaves and sesame seeds on top and it's done.
