Orange Pecans

   Put sugar and orange juice in large saucepan and cook to a soft ball stage on candy thermometer (236u00b0 to 240u00b0).

   Turn off heat and add orange rind and pecans.

   Use a wooden spoon; stir until mixture turns cream color (5 to 7 minutes). Pour onto cookie sheet; spread out.

   When cool enough to handle, break apart.
