Old Fashion Cocoa Fudge

   Combine cocoa, sugar, salt, white syrup and milk.

   Bring to a boil, stirring often.

   Cook to 232u00b0 or until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

   Remove from heat, drop in butter and cool to lukewarm (110u00b0).

   Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens.

   Pour into buttered pan and cut into squares.
