1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg, separated
1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
apples (enough to fill 9 x 13 cookie sheet), peeled and sliced
milk
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Beat egg yolk in measuring cup and add milk to make 2/3 cup.
