Old Cucumber Soup

   Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Place pork shoulder bone pieces into hot water and let them sit for 15 minutes. Drain and use.

   Place all the ingredients (including 6 cups water) in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer for 1 hour.

   Note: If you are using a crockpot like me, bring the 6 cups water to a boil on the stove first. Pour water into the crockpot over all the other ingredients. Boil on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
