Ingredients: 1 c. butter; 1 c. sugar; 1 c. brown sugar; 1 egg; 1 c. vegetable oil; 1 tsp. vanilla; 3 1/2 c. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 c. oatmeal; 1 c. cornflakes; 1/2 c. coconut; 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Cream butter.

Add sugars, beating well.

Add egg.

Add oil and vanilla.

Mix flour, soda and salt.

Add to creamed mixture.

Stir in oatmeal and remaining ingredients.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten each ball with tines of fork.

Bake at 325u00b0 for 15 minutes.

Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
