Oatmeal Cake

   Mix oatmeal and boiling water together in a bowl and set aside for about 20 min.

   Cream together butter and sugars.

   Add eggs and vanilla.

   Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

   Add soggy oatmeal and mix 3 min.

   Pour into greased and floured 9 by 13 in. cake pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.

   (If you want to add a choc. crust, add a bag of choc. chips to batter and then bake.)
