   Blend cheese and shortening.

   Mix in, with hands, flour. Refrigerate overnight.

   Roll out 1/8-inch thick on counter covered with confectioners sugar.

   Cut into 1 x 3-inch strips.

   Place walnut piece on each; roll up.

   Place folded side down on baking sheet.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 15 to 17 minutes, until light brown. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar while warm.
