1. Finely shred the cabbage; do not chop. Combine the green onions and cabbage in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

3. Make the crunches: Melt the butter in a saucepan. Mix the ramen noodles, sesame seeds and almonds into the pot with the melted butter. Soon the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake the crunches in the oven, turning often to make sure they do not burn. Remove when browned.

4. Dressing: In a small saucepan, het vinegar, oil, sugar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

5. Combine dressing, crunches, and cabbage immediately before serving. Serve right away or crunchies will get soggy.
