Monte Cristo Sandwiches

   Preheat griddle or a large cast-iron frying pan to 350F.

   Butter griddle.

   Combine and beat eggs and milk in a shallow dish.

   Dip slices of bread one at a time into the egg mix.

   Assemble sandwiches by placing a slice of bread on the grill, then a slice of cheese, then ham and turkey, then the second slice of cheese and the second piece of bread.

   Grill about 2 to 3 minutes per side until lightly browned and the cheese is melting.

   Cut sandwiches in halves and serve.
