Molasses Drop Cookie Recipe

   Cream sugar with shortening.

   Add in egg and mix well.

   Add in baking soda to molasses.

   Stir warm water into molasses mix and let set to cold.

   Stir into creamed mix.

   Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon, and salt.

   Stir into creamed molasses mix.

   Drop on greased cookie sheet by the tsp.

   and bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 min.

    Cold and spread with powdered sugar frosting.
