1
Clean and trim chicken breasts of all fat.
-
2
If using a chef knife, use flat side of blade and pound to an even thickness...about a half inch thick or so.
-
3
If you don't have a chef knife, cover chicken with plastic wrap and bang it flat with a pan (gently), rolling pin, ect..
-
4
Pour a bit of oil in a bottom of a tall sided pan and heat on medium high heat.
-
5
Once heated, place chicken in pan and let cook for a minute or so.
-
6
If seasoning the chicken, do so now.
-
7
Flip the chicken over and immediately place lid on pan and set timer for 12 minutes.
-
8
DO NOT LIFT LID!
-
9
After 12 minutes turn flame off.
-
10
DO NOT LIFT LID!
-
11
And set for another 12 minutes.
-
12
Afterwards, you're free to eat!
-
13
Great with rice and a veggie.
-
14
Or made for pot pie.
-
15
Shred it up for amazing chicken fajitas!
-
16
If you're making this FOR something, I suggest no seasoning.
-
17
If it's your main dish, test out your own flavors of seasoning mixes!
-
18
My personal favorite : pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika for color.
-
19
Enjoy!

And yes....that's 24 WHOLE MINUTES of NOT lifting the lid!
