1 c. applesauce

1 c. chopped nuts or raisins
melted butter

Cream sugar and shortening together.

Add egg; beat until light and fluffy.

Add applesauce and mix well.

Fold in nuts or raisins. Grease small muffin tins and fill 2/3 full.
