Milky Way Cake

   Melt the candy bars in the top of a double boiler.

   Preheat the oven to 300u00b0F.

   Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add the melted candy bars and stir well. Add the buttermilk, flour and soda and combine. Stir until well mixed. Add the vanilla and chopped nuts. Stir to combine.

   Grease and flour two loaf baking pans and then evenly seperate the batter between the two pans. Bake for 70 to 90 minutes, testing for desired doneness.

   Allow cakes to cool before slicing.
