Merry Cherry Bars

   Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

   Lightly coat 15-by-10-by-inch pan with vegetable oil spray.

   In large bowl, combine butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

   Blend in egg and extract.

   Stir in flour, then add 1/2 cup of the cherries.

   Spread into prepared pan, using wet fingers.

   Sprinkle with remaining cherries and M?&?Ms.

   Bake in preheated oven 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown.

   Combine powdered sugar and cherry juice or water and mix until smooth.

    Drizzle over bars.
