Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Mix the onion with the garlic and carrot.

Mix in the ground beef, egg, tomato pulp, oats, breadcrumbs, poppy seeds, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with a little white wine. Shape the meat in a roll, and place in a roasting pan.

Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard, and cover the entire meat loaf with this mixture. Divide the meatloaf in half. Place a slice of ham on top of 1 half, and wrap it in puff pastry, brush the pastry with a beaten egg. Garnish both rolls with chopped chives, coriander, parsley and poppy seeds.
