Meatloaf – a delicious recipe with eggs, salt, pepper, thyme, nutmeg, onion. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbs chopped onion
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup bread crumbs
2 lb ground beef
Parsley/celery leaves chopped
1 tsp chived choppped
1/4 tsp garlic
6 slices of bacon
1/2 cup chli sauce
2 tbs brown sugar
1/4 tsp dried mustard

Preheat oven to 350

Combine eggs & spices, stir in milk, sour cream & bread crumbs. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add beef, onions, parsley, celery leaves, chives and garlic. Blend all together. Put in loaf pan. Put bacon strips on top, hold together with toothpicks.

Bake 45 minutes.

Combine chili sauce brown sugar and dry mustard. Glaze to of meatloaf and bake for another 30 minutes.
