Ingredients: 2 lb. ground beef; 3 Tbsp. instant minced onion; 2 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. pepper; 1/4 tsp. nutmeg; 2 eggs; flour; 2 Tbsp. margarine; 2 c. beef bouillon; 1 bay leaf

Mix first 6 ingredients lightly but thoroughly.

Shape in 2-inch balls and roll in flour.

Brown on all sides in margarine. Add 1 1/2 cups bouillon and bay leaf.

Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 1/2 hour.

Mix 1/4 cup flour with remaining bouillon until smooth.

Stir into mixture and cook, stirring gently until thickened.
