   Cook granulated sugar, salt and water to a temperature of 238u00b0 or until syrup spins a thread.

   Pour slowly over beaten egg whites, beating mixture as you do.

   While icing is still hot, fold in marshmallows, which have been cut in pieces.

   Beat until of a consistency to spread.

   Cover cake.

   Use your favorite white cake recipe.
