Preheat oven to 350u00b0F. Grease and flour a 14x16 inch roasting pan.

Combine flour, baking powder, brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Beat 5 eggs until creamy then stir in melted butter. Add flour mixture in 2 batches. Stir in creme fraiche and chocolate. Transfer to prepared pan and set aside.

Cream remaining butter with granulated sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Whisk in 7 eggs, 1 at a time. Add semolina. Stir in Quark in 3 batches. Spread over chocolate batter. Drag a fork through both layers to marble batter. Bake for 55-60 mins. Let cool on a wire rack to cool.

Dust with powdered sugar and slice into 30 pieces.
