Kitchen Klatter coconut flavoring; 1 (11 ounce.) can mandarin oranges, drain & reserve liquid; 1/2 c. reserved mandarin orange juice; 1/2 c. plain yogurt; 1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3.c shortening

In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt.

Cut in shortening till coarse crumbs are made.

Stir in coconut, and orange segments.

In a small bowl combine orange juice, yogurt and egg; blend well.

Add in yogurt mix to dry ingredients.

Stir till just moist.
