Mix 1/3 cup of butter, 1 1/3 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, the cocoa powder and 1 egg. Knead into a crumbly mixture and refrigerate.

Preheat the oven to 325u00b0F. Mix remaining butter, vanilla and sugar until creamy. Fold in the remaining 5 eggs one at a time. Combine remaining flour and the baking powder and stir into the butter mixture. Fold the mandarins, orange zest and orange juice into the batter. Transfer into a greased and floured 10 inch springform cake pan, sprinkle with the crumble mixture and bake for 55-60 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle the cake with pine nuts and return to oven to bake for another 5 mins. Remove cake from the oven, allow to cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
