Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef; 1 lb ground lean pork or 1 lb sausage; 1 lb lean ground veal or 1 lb turkey or 1 lb chicken; 1 large onion, finely minced; 6 garlic cloves, .finely minced; ¾ cup oatmeal or ¾ cup Italian style breadcrumbs; 3 eggs; ¼ cup soup, base (you can substitute Onion soup mix); 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce; ketchup

1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb ground lean pork or 1 lb sausage
1 lb lean ground veal or 1 lb turkey or 1 lb chicken
1 large onion, finely minced
6 garlic cloves, .finely minced
¾ cup oatmeal or ¾ cup Italian style breadcrumbs
3 eggs
¼ cup soup, base (you can substitute Onion soup mix)
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Place meat into the mixing bowl of your mixer, Add everything except the ketchup.

Mix well on low speed until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Form a tight ball and place meat into a large loaf pan, or 2 quart baking dish, pressing meat into pan very firmly.

Coat the top of the meat with ketchup.

Chill at least one hour before baking.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minute or til thermometer reads well done.

Remove from oven and from the pan.

Place loaf on a cutting board, lightly cover with foil and let stand 15 minute.

Cut into slices and serve.
