Love Bites

   In a large bowl, mix vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, walnuts and cocoa powder.

   Stir in cherries and corn syrup until well mixed.

   Sprinkle with water and mix until throughly blended, using hands if necessary.

   Shape mixture into 3/4-inch balls. Roll in colored sugar.

   Store in an airtight container overnight before serving.
