1 cup dry lentils
2 ½ cups water
2 beef bouillon cubes
12 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
2 carrots, sliced
2 cups tomato juice
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ cup chopped onion
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced

Clean and rinse lentils.

In a saucepan, bring lentils, water and bouillon to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes.
