1/2 c. chopped onion

2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
8 c. water
12 oz. can tomatoes

In a large stock pot, combine all the ingredients, except tomatoes. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
