Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in corn syrup, lemon extract, and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder. Cover and put in the fridge for at least an hour.

Preheat oven to 325u00b0. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper (it can also work with a non stick cookie sheet. I don't always have parchment paper on hand).

Roll dough into balls and place on a cookie sheet. If dough gets too sticky, place it back in fridge to chill.

I made 48 smaller cookies from one batch. It's up to you for the size of cookies you want.
