Lemon Chicken – a delicious recipe with egg, soy sauce, vegetable oil, cooking sherry, salt, sugar. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

deboned breasts
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. cooking sherry (optional)
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion tops
1/2 Tbsp. chopped ginger root
1/3 c. cornstarch
Lemon Sauce (recipe follows)

Combine all ingredients, except Lemon Sauce; marinate chicken breasts 4 hours or longer in the refrigerator. Use enough vegetable oil to cover bottom of skillet. Fry chicken, skin side down, over medium heat. Fry until crisp and golden brown. Turn chicken and fry other side. Serve with Lemon Sauce.
