thaw and drain fruit, reserving juice for batter

mix flour, sugar, ground flax seed, baking powder and salt. add milk or juice and stir by hand to combine.

preheat oven to 350 degrees

melt butter and bruch interior of an 11 inch tart pan, place tart pan on a cookie sheet

pour prepared batter into buttered tart pan, spreading to cover bottom

add fruit on top leaving a slight 1/2 border if possible

place cookie sheet with tart pan in center of oven and bake 25 - 30 minutes or until batter has transformed into a golden crust

cool twenty minutes or more prior to serving
