Lawrence'S Sugar Nuts

   Combine both sugars and sour cream in a medium saucepan.

   Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.

   Continue cooking, without stirring, until temperature reaches 238u00b0 or until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball.

   Remove from heat.

   Add vanilla and nuts.

   Stir gently until all nuts are coated.

   Turn onto wax paper.

   With a fork, separate the nuts. Let dry.
