mix all the ingredients together except the beef ribs and half cup of beer into a large shallow dish once mixed add the beef ribs to the marinade , turning a few times to coat all well , cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours , best over night , turning every so often to keep them coated well .

once ribs have marinated , lift the beef ribs out and onto a light oiled baking tray , pour the renaming marinade over the ribs in the baking tray and pour a little water into the pan to prevent smoking or burning .

place the prepared tray of ribs into a preheated oven at 190C for about 35-45 minutes , turning the ribs occasionally , until tender and cooked through .

once ribs are cooked remove from the baking tray onto a serving plate .

and add the remaining half cup beer to the marinade juices in the baking tray and bring to the boil stirring , reduce heat and let simmer for a few minutes or until marinade has reduced a little , now pour the heated marinade over the cooked beef ribs for extra flavour and sauce .
