["in a large bowl(by hand or hand mixer) or large stand mixer) cream butter till fluffyadd brown sugar-cream welladd sugar-cream welladd vanilla & coconut and cream wellsift flour with salt and baking soda.add four to butter in thirds. add chips,(nuts) with the 3rd flour addition. mix well , dough will be stillusing a scooper 2-4 oz and put on parchment lined cookie sheet. flaten tops gently with the palm of your hand.you may also roll the dough in to logs, cut pieces needed, roll into ball, place on cookie sheet and press tops lightlybake preheated 375% oven8 - 10 mins. do not overcook. coookies should be slightly brown around edges and have ""sugar cracks"" on top. cookies will be undercooked. allow to cool on cookie sheet-as cookies will still cook on hot sheet-wait 5 minutes and remove. serve with a glass of milk !!"]
