Ingredients: 3 tablespoons butter; 2 onions, sliced; jalapeno, diced; 1 garlic clove; 11 ounces sauerkraut, Claussen is the best, don't drain; 3 tablespoons brown sugar; ½ teaspoon celery seed; 1 bay leaf; 4 bratwursts; 4 hot dog buns; ½ cup mayonnaise; ¼ cup yellow mustard; ¼ cup sriracha hot chili sauce

3 tablespoons butter
2 onions, sliced
jalapeno, diced
1 garlic clove
11 ounces sauerkraut, Claussen is the best, don't drain
3 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon celery seed
1 bay leaf
4 bratwursts
4 hot dog buns
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup yellow mustard
¼ cup sriracha hot chili sauce

Saute onions, jalopeno in butter.

When the onions are caramelized add garlic, saute for 1 minute.

Add undrained sauerkraut, sugar, celery seed and bay leaf.

Cover and simmer 1/2 hour.

Add meat and simmer for 45 minutes.

In a bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients together.

Put buns in the oven to toast.

Open bun.

Spread sauce on the bun.
