If you like, you can use store bought fettuccini noodles.
-

It tastes better with home-made noodles though.

For egg noodles: mix eggs, cream, and salt.
-
5
Mix in flour a cup at a time until the dough is medium soft and not sticky to the touch.
-
6
You may need more or less than the 5 cups of flour.
-
7
If you don't have a pasta maker: roll out dough thinly, using flour continually to prevent sticking.
-
8
Then, using a pizza cutter, cut out the noodles to about 1/4 inch width and 4 inches long.
-
9
If you have a noodle machine: roll out dough with the machine until it is in the second last thinnest size.
-
10
Then, with noodle attachment for wide noodles, make the noodles.
-
11
Boil in salt water.
-
12
Drain.
-

For sauce: Cut bacon in thin slices.
-

-
17
Take out bacon, sausage and onions from pan.
-
18
Discard extra bacon grease, reserving only about 1-2 tablespoons in the pan.
-
19
Add cream, milk, salt and pepper to the bacon grease and bring to a boil.
-
20
If needed, add salt to taste.
