Khrusty(Angel Wings)

   Mix together first 5 ingredients.

   Add enough flour to make a soft dough.

   Knead until smooth.

   Roll out on floured surface, very thin.

   Cut 2 1/2-inch strips vertically and then cut on a diagonal to make diamond shapes.

   Make a 1/2-inch slit vertically in center of each diamond shape.

   Pull one end through slit.

   Fry in electric skillet or on the stove in deep hot oil or Crisco, until very lightly browned, turning once.

   Do not overcrowd skillet.

    Drain on paper towels; cool.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
