   Preheat oven to 325u00b0.

   Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter or oleo over very low heat in a heavy saucepan.

   Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar.

   Beat in eggs and vanilla.

   Quickly stir in chopped walnuts, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and salt. Spread batter in a well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan.

   Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
