   Combine the sugar and 4 cups water.

   Boil for 10 minutes.

   Combine coffee and 2 cups water.

   Boil for 8 minutes.

   Add to sugar water.

   Let sit until room temperature.

   Add vodka and vanilla to coffee mixture.
